26.1: Billing Enhancements and Platform Improvements

The 26.1 release introduces the ability to configure eligible billing payers when generating 837P claims, and behind-the-scenes platform improvements.

The following new features and functionality have been released in CR Essentials:

Billing Enhancements

• New payer-specific billing configuration
  • Users can now configure eligible payers to bill only under the company, without requiring a rendering provider when generating 837P claims.
• Improved 837P / Availity Claim Validation
  • SSN validation has been removed for 837P and Availity claims where it is not required, reducing unnecessary claim submission issues.

Platform Improvements

• This release includes security, performance, and stability improvements.
