How to Request to Create or Edit a Visit that is Restricted

Enhanced visit restrictions will be available in the 25.7 release


Company administrators can restrict the creation or editing of visits after a certain amount of time (see the help article here) which may impact your ability to create or edit visits.

  • When the editing of a visit is restricted, there will be a notification in the top right of the calendar slider which says, "Editing rights expired on [a date and time in the past]".
  • When the creation of a visit is restricted, there will be a notification in the top right of the calendar slider which says, "Due to a company restriction, a visit cannot be scheduled when the time in is more than x hour(s) in the past".


How to Request to Create or Edit a Visit that is Restricted

  • Click "Request to Create New Visit" or "Request to Edit Visit" on the bottom of the slider.
  • Type a reason why you need to create or edit this visit.
  • Click submit request
  • Your administrators will receive an Exception Request in their inbox.
    • If they reject the request, you will receive a notification in your inbox and will not be able to create or edit the visit.
    • If they approve the request, you will receive a notification in your inbox and will be able to create or edit the visit for 24 hours.
