How To Manage Company Restrictions

The new company restrictions view and functionality will be available in the 25.7 release.


All company restrictions are in Company Settings -> General Settings -> Company Restrictions


How to restrict users from creating or editing visits in the past


Visit creation and visit edit restrictions are organized by role (Therapists or Analysts) but behave the same way.

  • To prevent visits from being created in the past, select "Restrict creating visits __ hours in the past" and click save.
    • Users can select from 0 to 999 hours in the past
  • To prevent visits from being edited after the end time, select "Restrict editing visits __ hours after end time" and click save.
    • Users can select from 0 to 999 hours after end time
  • Once these restrictions are enabled and a therapist or analyst attempts to create or edit a visit past the hours selected, the therapist or analyst will not be able to create or edit the visit unless:
    • The therapist or analysts requests an exception
    • A super user or admin approves the exception
      • All approved exceptions are valid for 24 hours


How to Prevent Therapists with Invalid Requirements from Scheduling

  • Toggle the "Restrict Therapist/Analyst with invalid requirements from scheduling visits" and click save.

How to Prevent Clients without Prior Authorization from Having a Visit

  • Toggle the "Restrict clients without prior authorization from having visits" and click save.
