26.9: Min Max Trials and Other Enhancements
Release Recap
The CR Essentials 26.9 release introduces trial range configuration to skills, supporting RBTs in collecting clinically meaningful data and preventing client fatigue. Additionally, several platform enhancements have been implemented to improve usability.
Minimum and Maximum Trials
Minimum and maximum trial ranges can now be configured for the Percentage Correct measurement type, enabling BCBAs to provide clear guidance that displays during data collection. Trial ranges can be set for CR Elements and CR Essentials Standards skills using STOs. The minimum and maximum trial ranges act as guidance only; they do not block data entry or prevent additional trials from being collected once the maximum is reached, and trials falling below the minimum will still display normally on graphs and reports.
Minimum and maximum trial ranges are currently displayed during data collection in notes on the web, and support for displaying trial ranges in the Mobile app will be coming soon.
- The minimum and maximum trial ranges are defined at the skill level and apply to each STO within that skill individually, not as a combined total across each STO in a session.
- Minimum and maximum fields are both optional and independent; setting up the range as a pair is not required.
- Minimum and maximum trial ranges include the following requirements and restrictions:
- If a minimum and maximum range is set, the minimum must be less than the maximum. Additionally, the minimum and maximum must both be positive integers.
- The maximum is capped at 99. Please note, the maximum only acts as visual guidance and will not prevent users from exceeding the limits.

Other Enhancements
- Authors and approvers can now sign independently across devices.
- Graphs now display the client's name and skill/behavior name simultaneously, including when copied and pasted.
- The “Rate” option in CR Elements programs now supports minutes and hours.
- The “Time Intervals” field label has been reverted to "Short Term Objective" to better reflect the field.
- The Receivables Summary Claims tab now includes an editable Check/EFT Number field for each service line. Additionally, a search filter for Check/EFT Numbers has been added.
- The Payroll Rates page within the Therapist record has been updated to improve usability.
- Payroll rate entry actions have been updated to include “Add”, “Update”, and “Delete”.
- The Billing Code Rates table has been reordered to display beneath the Supervision Rate table.
- ID, Payer, and Status-based filter fields have been added to the Billing Summary and Receivables Summary pages to help users locate specific items faster, reducing manual review time.
- The Company Settings page now includes a “Require signed session note to create claims” setting that disables the visit’s checkbox in the Billing Summary when a note is missing or incomplete due to missing signatures. This new setting prevents claims from being submitted when the session note has not yet been completed. Please note, this setting does not apply to private payers.

- Minor visual updates have been implemented to improve behavior data collection and the Clients page.
- The issue preventing clients from displaying when using the “All” Client Status filter has been resolved.
- The issue causing targets to display twice during data collection has been resolved.
- The issue preventing the secondary payer from deleting when prompted has been resolved.
